Mahaut or Matilda II of Boulogne (also known as Mathilde, Maud de Dammartin; 1202 – January 1259) was Countess of Boulogne in her own right and Queen of Portugal by marriage to King Afonso III from 1248 until their divorce in 1253. She was the daughter of Ida, Countess of Boulogne and her husband and co-ruler Renaud, Count of Dammartin. She succeeded her mother as Countess of Boulogne in 1216. She was the great-granddaughter of King Stephen of England.

Philip I of Boulogne (Philip Hurepel) (1200–1235) was a French prince, Count of Clermont-en-Beauvaisis in his own right, and Count of Boulogne, Mortain, Aumale, and Dammartin-en-Goële jure uxoris.

Philip was born in September 1200, the son of Philip II of France and his controversial third wife Agnes of Merania. Illegitimacy shadowed his birth and career, but he was legitimated by Pope Innocent III. He was associated with founding the Tour du Guet in Calais. He is the first recorded person to bear a differenced version of the arms of France.

Alfonso III di Portogallo, detto il Restauratore (in spagnolo e asturiano Alfonso; in portoghese e in galiziano Afonso; in catalano Alfons; in aragonese Alifonso; in basco Alfontso; in latino Adefonsus o Alfonsus; Coimbra, 5 maggio 1210 – Alcobaça, 16 febbraio 1279), fu dapprima conte consorte di Boulogne (1235-53) e perciò detto le Boulonnais (in portoghese: o Bolonhês), poi reggente del regno dal 1245 al 1248 e infine, dal 1248 fino alla sua morte, quinto re del Portogallo e dell'Algarve.
