Jacques II d'Aragon dit « le Juste » (en catalan : Jaume El Just, en castillan : Jaime el Justo), né le 10 août 1267 à Valence et mort le 2 novembre 1327 à Barcelone, est roi de Sicile, puis roi d'Aragon, comte de Barcelone et roi de Valence. C'est le second fils de Pierre III d'Aragon et de Constance de Hohenstaufen.

Isabella of Castile (1283–24 July 1328) was the Queen of Aragon as the first wife of King James II and Duchess of Brittany as the second wife of Duke John III.

Isabella was born in Toro, the eldest daughter of King Sancho IV of Castile and María de Molina. As On 1 December 1291, Isabella married King James II of Aragon in the city of Soria. The bride was only eight years old and the groom twenty-four. The marriage was never consummated.

Sancho IV died on 25 April 1295. James chose to change his alliances and take advantage of the turmoil inside Castile. He had their wedding annulled and proceeded to marry Blanche of Anjou.

Isabella remained unwed for about a decade. In 1310, at Burgos, she married her second husband, Duke John III of Brittany. There were no children from this marriage. She died 24 July 1328, and was buried at Prières Abbey.

Blanche of Anjou (1280 – 14 October 1310) was Queen of Aragon as the second spouse of King James II of Aragon. She was a member of the Capetian House of Anjou, she is also known as Blanche of Naples. She served as Regent or "Queen-Lieutenant" of Aragon during the absence of her spouse in 1310.

Elisenda de Montcada (c. 1292 – 19 June 1364) was queen consort of Aragon as the fourth and last spouse of James II of Aragon. She served as Regent or "Queen-Lieutenant" of Aragon during the absence of her spouse from 1324 until 1327. She and James II founded the Monastery of Pedralbes, a Franciscan convent of the Poor Clares. After James II's death in 1327, Elisenda lived adjacent to the monastery for the remaining 37 years of her life.
