Jean II de Saxe-Weimar (, Weimar – , Weimar) est duc de Saxe-Weimar de 1602 à sa mort.
Il est le deuxième fils du duc Johann Wilhelm de Saxe-Weimar et de Dorothée-Suzanne de Simmern. À la mort de son père, en 1573, son frère aîné Frédéric Wilhelm Ier devient duc. Il meurt à son tour en 1602, laissant quatre fils mineurs. Jean II devient donc duc en leur nom, mais dès l'année suivante, un partage est effectué : Jean conserve la Saxe-Weimar tandis que ses neveux deviennent ducs de Saxe-Altenbourg.

Dorothea Maria of Anhalt
Dorothea Maria of Anhalt (Dessau, 2 July 1574 – Weimar, 18 July 1617), was by birth a member of the House of Ascania and princess of Anhalt. After her marriage, she became Duchess of Saxe-Weimar.
Dorothea Maria was the sixth daughter of Joachim Ernest, Prince of Anhalt, but second-born daughter by his second wife Eleonore, daughter of Christoph, Duke of Württemberg.
